PyConDE & PyData Berlin 2022

We are happy to announce that we have finished the first round of reviews.

In the first wave 🌊 of acceptance we have accepted:

  • 16 tutorials
  • 70 talks

We have sent emails to all submitters about the current status of their submission. The acceptance status is also visible in the speaker accounts in Pretalx.

Speakers whose submissions have been accepted in the first round must

confirm their participation by 15 February.

Please contact us if this is not possible by then, extensions are possible.

Submissions that we do not consider suitable for the conference have also already received notifications of non-acceptance. This also applies to submissions from speakers from whom another submission has already been accepted - or there were similar submissions that we found more suitable.
Nevertheless, thank you very much, we do not take these decisions lightly.

We would like to thank:
  • Everyone who submitted a proposal
  • The Community actively taking part in the voting on submissions with almost 30,000 votes
  • The 22 expert reviewers who provided detailed views on topics
What about the second wave?

We know that it is more difficult to have a "maybe" than a "no". We appreciate the patience of those whose proposal is still under consideration.
We are continuing the review and expect to complete the second round by the end of February.

The final program will consist of:

  • 84 talks
  • 17 tutorials
  • 3 panels
  • 2 Ligthning Talks sessions

We have released a list of accepted sessions here.
