Sold Out: Social Event @ PyCon DE & PyData Berlin 2022

Tickets for Social Event are sold out!

The tickets to the social event sold out within a few hours after our announcement.

We understand some of you might be disappointed. In 2019 we had 347 attendees at the social event and we had a hard time selling these.

Based on the 2019 experience, taking Covid and suitable locations and their availability into consideration we have decided that Weltwirtschaft is the best option and to go for with 300 ppl. When we make a reservation for many people we have to make advance and guarantee payments upfront. Also suitable spaces for hundreds of people are limited and not all are affordable for us. We did not expect to sell out that fast at all. I cannot agree on VIP event, the email was sent to everyone at the same time and with 10€ it's a very affordable event. We are sorry we can not accommodate everyone who wanted to join.
